I have been working in service design for over 10 years. I am currently at Ministry of Justice. Previously, I worked at Social Finance, Citizens Advice, Barnardo's and grassroots charities.
I am passionate about exploring how design can be used for good to enable and empower. I am also developing my coaching practice, drawing on service design methodologies I have honed and developed.

USER RESEARCH STRATEGY
My background in children's services put me in good stead to strategically deliver a research process for working with young people in a safe, ethical way.
I worked to integrate welfare into the research process across two organisations, aligning with senior leaders to bring about cultural shifts and safer working practices.

DESIGNED A NEW MATCHING PORTAL TO HOME REFUGEES WITH UK HOSTS
Led the design and research function for a new matching platform service. Guided the team around a rapidly changing landscape as shifts in policy and the situation in Ukraine were evolving.

We built friction into our designs to give pause for informed decision making for both refugees and hosts, to support a better match.

RESEARCH AND WORKSHOPS
I facilitate conversations with stakeholders at all levels to brainstorm and align towards a shared vision.

I use creative prompts and storytelling to support others to see the bigger picture.

JOURNEY MAPPING & SPECULATIVE MAPPING
Use visual techniques to help support service redesign in complex areas and help us bring innovation into everyday discussions about how we change and improve legacy, difficult to navigate services.
